Wrongful Termination

The law presumes all employees to be “at-will” which means that an employee and employer can severe the employment relationship at any time, for any reason (except for reasons which run afoul to the law). Wrongful termination cases are therefore highly fact intensive as employers rarely identify an unlawful reason for terminating employees. However for those terminations which stem from discrimination, retaliation or other rights tethered to public policy, employees are protected.

It is always recommended that you consult with an attorney competent in these areas in order to determine the merits of your case.
